If we offer £55.5m we could gazump Chelsea.

A bidding war, you say?

One of the Portugese media outlets are saying Chelsea's move for Ugarte is falling apart because Broehly presented a package to him, equivalent to about £35k/week.

Would be odd to look to match a £55m release clause and then offer the player those wage terms.
About a third of what Chuk is on?  It's clearly bollocks.

Probably but even the thought is entertaining. At least I found it so. Hopefully Chelsea are totally fucked in terms of FFP. Out of all the meeja 6 teams, I think they're the ones I despise the most.

I really hope they are, because with no European distractions, a massive squad, and Pochettino in place, you'd think they will be a force in the race for the top four next season.  Clearly something is rotten there, so fingers crossed it takes Poch a while to figure it all out.

I guess that having an academy that can bring in the thick end of half a billion in transfer fees is going to be a big help with that.

Sorry for the reminders
