All I do during International breaks is pray that they are injury free. Would be quite happy if international football ceased.
Same, it’s ridiculous the amount of International games.

Spain v Scotland Euro Qualifier. Pau v McGinn
745pm
I don't know if Scotland will get anything over in Spain today. Since they lost to Scotland
Spain beat Italy and then Croatia on pens to win the nation's league.
Then won 7-1 away in Georgia and 6-0 home to Cyprus.
It'll be nightly impressive if Scotland get a result tonight.
I won't be giving any definite forecast but instead keep an eye on the events.

Good luck McGinn!
Good luck Pau!

This one surely suits us with a few players getting more time to recover from knocks

Used to love these breaks when we were struggling, some mid season respite from watching us getting smashed by the likes of Swansea or Watford.  Don't care for them now mind, especially with a team full of internationals praying they don't pick up a knock.

Ah thems was the days...  When small city / town clubs would come to Villa park and play possession football and we looked mildly stunned.  When we inevitably whacked it long down a channel we hear a loud 'HOOOOFF' noise from the away end. Happy memories.

International football, outside of tournaments, is dull as hell.  I can't be arsed with it at all.

Surely it would be beneficial they have international months  where they can knock out 5 or 6 qualifiers  ?

At the moment we have September October and November breaks which one is a real pain ,  why not consolidate to just October and then do the same in February ?

That's a lot of weeks of non-international top division footballers sitting around doing nothing and then the "top top super duper" internationals will still be crying about needing a winter break.

I can survive the odd weekend without a club game

Manily selfish clubcentric me  ;) .   But I also think Gareth and co  would benefit having a group together for longer less drop outs , just an idea

Yeah, and I got so sick of it I ended up blasting out the next one that appeared, only it was the Cardiff lad who it turns out was pretty sound.
