And then fans of said clubs coming onto this board to tell us what football is.

They were usually right self important see you next Tuesdays, aswell

Yeah, and I got so sick of it I ended up blasting out the next one that appeared, only it was the Cardiff lad who it turns out was pretty sound.

Yeah, he's a good lad. Is he still around on here?

I see Neymar tore his ACL and meniscus in a qualifier vs Uruguay last night.

Absolutely disgraceful that Mason isn’t in the squad.

I mean he signed for Man Utd, what more has he got to do?

Now, as many of you have probably worked out, I'm no fan of VAR, but in the context of Monday's match it just added to the chaos. This is likely to be the reason I watched a non Vila Monday night match to it's conclusion for the first time in years.

Southgate described it as "boring". It tells you all you need to know about him.

As was noted a while back, he's the sort of person that probably welcomes an old pub being converted into a McDonalds.

He definitely prefers a nice gastro pub that does wood fired pizzas.

Far too racey for Gareth, he’d prefer a Toby Carvery the boring waist coated wanker.

I’m no Southgate fan (as a manager at least) but I think the context to the ‘boring’ description was that he was at the game and it stopped about 10 times and at no point did anyone at the game know why and also that despite the dozen added minutes the ball was in play one of the lowest amounts of time of the season.

Watching on the tv was hilarious as a neutral but I’m with him that it’d be boring as a neutral in the ground and infuriating as a supporter with the lack of info

If the others called up hold their place from last time, we now have a current international in the England, Spain, France, Italy,  Brazil and Argentina squads. I make that a German, Dutchman and possibly a Uruguayan short of the full set.

I've ommitted Belgium, Scotland, Colombia etc as they aren't traditionally what I would PERSONALLY consider top tier countries, so if Hamish McTwatface wants to get shirty...save it.

Anyway, good stuff. We are good at the football.
