Cash MOTM for me today, a fraction ahead of McGinn and Luiz. Mings did very well too.

Fair play to Cash, he was shocking last week but very good today.

He was very good against Palace too, so he's getting there knowing what's required under Emery. He should still be first choice right back next season in my opinion.
We were told by several people that he was not capable of learning the Emery way of playing, didn't speak Spanish and so on. He seems to be proving them wrong.

Three points, three goals, clean sheet, four unbeaten.  Top 10.  What's not to like?  Excellent.

Not to come over all Flinty, but I’m pissed  off about all those empty seats having been online last night and told it was sold out.
There’s only one Flinty Flintsone!

I would say our most complete performance at home since Emery's first game.  I really think had Gerrard still been sitting in our dugout, we'd be stone last in the table

We've won 3-0. Is it just us that has to mention who we thought didn't play well enough?

No, that’s just part of football discussion. We played a side bottom three and unlike many Villa sides of the past we dispatched them professionally. But there is room for improvement. Everyone is happy with the result but certain players will need to be improved upon for us to challenge at the top. For me upgrade at CB and on the wing for sure.

Please don't patronise me.  People saying Buendia wasn't up to par today - well, apart from the goal.

Crikey Jane. I wasn’t patronizing my you at all. You asked if it was only us that found some things that needed improving in victory. If you want to focus just on the win then awesome.

Is that 26 points from 14 games now?

Over a season that would be 70 points.

We're going places.

That we are! What a difference Emery is making. Love it, love Dougie too, he’s just really ace at the moment.

Comfortable performance. We really should have hammered them though with all the chances we created. Watkins and Mings missed sitters and I'm still trying to figure out what Traore was attempting...

We looked very dangerous when attacking and the tippy-tappy, overplaying crap was significantly reduced today. I'm still not convinced by our playing out from the back tactics but I understand it takes time and we're also not playing with our main central defensive pairing.

I wasn’t at the game today, and was listening on the radio. Tony Daly said it would have been a harsh penalty. Upon seeing that, Tone you were way off!! How is that not given??

Yeah possibly, I do believe, we would almost certainly be in the relegation scrap, thanks to Unai, we've got a relaxing end of the season to look forward to, he's done a great job.

Also great to get that Bournemouth hoodoo off our backs. They’re destined for the championship.
