Good performance. Never unduly worried. Once it got to 70 minutes and Bournemouth had to push up a little more, we started to pick them apart a bit more. It felt like a lot of nous in the game plan, as you expect from Emery. This kind of game has historically been a banana skin, so to end with a fairly routine win, was pleasing.

Great to see Ramsey back to his dynamic, driving best. It's great when Douglas is up for it too, but I wish he hit these levels a bit more often. Moreno lasted the game pretty well too. McGinn, Cash and Mings also great.

Bailey is an enigma (mostly frustating one). Beundia wasn't great (though did grow into it as the game opened) but I guess the former got an assist and Emi2 got a goal.

We now have to shake off another curse, and that's going into an international break on a decent run. I really hope we're on it in the next game. Though it probably works better for us that it's a game where we're underdogs.

Underdogs!!

We are above them in the league.

Fantastic win, well done all and sundry.  :)

Cash MOTM for me today, a fraction ahead of McGinn and Luiz. Mings did very well too.
I thought Ramsey was excellent, the only poor performances were Bailey Buendia and Traore was not much better.

Very good win against a team, who nearly took a point off Arsenal and beat Liverpool. It may be only for a couple of hours, but it's great to say we're in the top half.

Good result and keeps momentum going.

Whoever commentates for us on WM is stealing a living though. He thought Luis was being booed when he took a corner and unai emery’s ‘barmy army’. Couldn’t describe what was going in front of him and spewing a constant word salad.

I think it’s a tough job but Jesus wept.

Anyway - up the villa!

Not to come over all Flinty, but I’m pissed  off about all those empty seats having been online last night and told it was sold out.

Me & Amfy couldn't go today so we put our seats onto resale.  They won't sell them until the whole ground is sold out, it's ridiculous.
There were literally 2 left in B7 (family stand) & no one else’s could go for resale until they sold. Pretty sure there’s a few that would have liked a pair of seats in L7 if they’d been made available. It doesn’t exactly encourage not selling on privately when they make it this difficult to return them.

We've won 3-0. Is it just us that has to mention who we thought didn't play well enough?

No, that’s just part of football discussion. We played a side bottom three and unlike many Villa sides of the past we dispatched them professionally. But there is room for improvement. Everyone is happy with the result but certain players will need to be improved upon for us to challenge at the top. For me upgrade at CB and on the wing for sure.

Fair play to Cash, he was shocking last week but very good today.

Also, that ref has now reffed us and we have won. So the stattos can add that to their Excel sheets.

The corner shenanigans was fun at the end .   comfortable win in the end . Ramsey is immense when running with the ball in space

He was very good against Palace too, so he's getting there knowing what's required under Emery. He should still be first choice right back next season in my opinion.

I'm sure Emery will be telling those who could do better that they need to do better.

Please don't patronise me.  People saying Buendia wasn't up to par today - well, apart from the goal.
