Aston Villa 1-0 Crystal Palace post match fat chewing

Not convincing but we won. A shit game, and possibly a bad injury to Kamara. Took us forever to get a shot on goal.

No not really. But tell me what great positives did you take from that? We won that’s about the only thing.

Job done. We needed a home win. Wasn't pretty but it rarely is against Palace, for anyone. 3 points, clean sheet. Onto the next one.

It's also the most important thing...

Well we won at home but not a great game. We are very slow going forwards.

Never in doubt. Big teams get results.

Very boring game but will take the win.

Never known another team in world football that finds it so difficult to play against another side when they go down to 10 men. Happens under every single manager we have.

Really hope Kamara injury isn't bad but if it's similar to last time then season over and that's a massive blow as Chambers can't pass at all this season.

Would be starting Dendoncker next week if he's available.

This

We'd love a 4-0, but couldn't give a shiney shite if we win  all of our remaining games 1-0.

Shit game, nondescript performance, just about good enough to beat an awful Palace side, who basically have one good player and a bunch of thugs like their manager.

Having said that, it's another three points despite not playing very well, which is what big sides do. Emery has that 'big team' energy to him. If we can't prosper with him, we never will.

Hope Kamara's ok.

Shit game, Doucoure's thuggery ruined it as a spectacle and disrupted any dominance we had in midfield. Palace deservedly got nothing and after today I wouldn't be upset if they went.
