Massive three points keeps us involved with the top half places, a tidy 7 point gap between us and those below.
A really disappointing game, maybe my expectations are too high but I was expecting us to be far better drilled by now. We're still chaotic, still failing to make simple passes when a player is available, we're our own worst enemy.

Good to see SJM back to his Super status, he really should have scored. Cash had his hands full and did a job. Other than that, not much to shout about. VAR, for once is our friend.

Glad of the win, had to skip the match thread due to all of the moaning. Jeez we are on 34 points with 25 matches played including a load under Gerrard.

I remember when we squeaked and unconvincing one goal win at home to Palace once. Very poor game it was. 80-81 season...

Very pleased with the clean sheet.I'd have put Duran on earlier with Ollie wide.
Bailey with a withering ,flaccid balloon of a cameo.Joker.

Win our next two and we can finish above them.

Seven points off them and seven points ahead of Palarse directly below us.

Just remember people Palace had drawn 5 out of last 6. We beat them.

3 points and a clean sheet are the positives.

Our play is too often ponderous and negative, no urgency. When we try to play one-touch it can be wonderful to watch, wish we'd do it more.

I would rather see what Traore has than Bailey right now. Hopefully Kamara isn't as bad as it looked.

We didn’t allow a shot on goal, completed 454 passes with our average streak at 7, and broke up their play so often their pass completion was at 60%.

Lots for the manager to work on and develop but three points is all that matters.

Getting to 34 points at this stage is pretty incredible considering where the previous manager had us.  Let's keep looking up and climbing that table.  UTV.

Ollie scores that second we probably stroll it. Still, i'll take a 1-0 with today's performance over looking a lot better going forward and conceding 4 like the previous 2 home games.

3 points that’ll do, only 5 points off 7th. Need to get much better with the ball. Really hope Bouba’s injury isn’t too bad.
