That Buendia goal wouldn't have counted if it had been at Filbert Street. Still bitter after nearly 53 years
If my memory serves me correctly Filbert Street had very shallow goals. The ball hit a stanchion at the back of their net and flew out and they went straight up our end and scored.(The last bit may be a false memory).I am sure Shilton later admitted ours had been a goal. I do remember it got a bit lively after the game.
