That'll do. Great to see Ollie break the record and fantastic goal from Emi2. onwards!

If we could play Everton every week we’d be champions!

I said that earlier and for that reason alone I’m happy for them to stay up! W Ham on the other hand would be a great addition to the Championship

When you're well removed from it, wondering which three teams below will get relegated is a nice little daydream to have. I'm just sorry only three can go.

Special mention to Ollie for 5 in a row.

According to the Beeb, it's a record for a Villa player in the Premier League.

Delighted with the 3 points, it was never going to be pretty against DycheBall. Onwards and upwards!

Paul Rideout the last in 1985 for us to do it as per commentator on mine
Of course, for them football began in 1992 with the Premier League and Sky. Anything that happened before that doesn't exist.

Marvellous stuff. There is no way we're matching into places and grabbing the points in style as some seem to imagine, but you really can't knock this Manager so far.

Players will be replaced, games will be lost and drawn but on the face of things, it looks bright.

That Buendia goal wouldn't have counted if it had been at Filbert Street.

Good sides innit - play unconvincingly but still take the points. How many times have we seen teams come to our place and do that to us?

Agree re second point, do as best we can this season, some proper ins and outs over the summer - no excuses - and we're looking like we'll be going somewhere.

Our record against them since we came back up is excellent, Not quite Manchester clubs vs us excellent, but still very pleasing. 6-2-0. No idea what our best unbeaten run against any club is. We must have a good record against Blues Post the initial naff run in 03, and I can remember we had some kind of run going against Coventry which was mentioned quite  abit.

Last Blues win was the League Cup, I think. Last league win has got to be what, 2005?

Please explain. Can't be that long since Chris Nicholl got greedy and scored two goals for each side.

Yep, they beat us home and away in 04/05. Since then it's no defeats in 14 league games.  You'd have to be mid to late twenties to be in with a chance of remembering a league win for them against us.

Also, Buendia has scored in every appearance he's made for us against them. 3. The new Gabby.

My niece was 3 when they last beat us in the league. This week she celebrated her 3rd wedding anniversary.
