1-1 Everton have just had a couple of wins and will have more confidence than they did have but they don't really offer that much of a threat up top.

Watkins to make it five games on the trot with a goal.

Dyche or not we should win this.  We've scored in every game since Christmas including against Man City, Spurs, Arsenal and Liverpool.  True, we're not great against a low block, but I'd back us to score 1 or 2 here.

The main concern against will be set pieces and in particular Tarkowski.  But if Mings can control him we should win this.

For the line up I am concerned about our lack of physicality.  Teams seem to get away with just throwing our players to the ground and having Moreno, Coutinho and Buendia in together does leave us exposed to bullying.  But I think these three probably do give us the maximum creativity against a defensive team, so it'sa conundrum.  I suspect we'll start with Bailey with either Cout or Buendia on the bench.

I really hope Bailey doesn’t start, he’s no use.

Yet he's scored 5 goals and 2 assists in 19 starts and 6 sub appearances.

I realise he's not at his best but unfortuantely he's our most productive player after Watkins.

I worry about this one. They've got the new manager bounce, we've in the middle of the usual our players are still crap after all not quite so new manager slump. Everton are still pretty rubbish but Dyche has got them organised and we'll need to out battle their midfield three of Doucourre, Onana and Gueye, so for this I'd probably bring Dendoncker in next to Luiz and Kamara, as those two are a bit on the weedy side.

                    Martinez
        Cash Konsa Mings Digne
McGinn Kamara Dendoncker Luiz
Duran
                   Watkins

I'm not sure Dendonker can be classed as 'fire'

He gets a bad rap on here but I think he can be an effective option for us. Especially against the likes of Dycheball. He's ungainly to put it mildly but isn't a bad player. Bit unfortunate that he's competing arguably with our two best players for game time but Kamara isn't in the greatest of form currently either.

Can't we loan El Ghazi back for this? He used to love playing against these chumps.

Under the banner "Aston Villa lose two players to injury" this shocking news from Goodison...

"Aston Villa are set to be without Jed Steer and Diego Carlos for their Premier League fixture against Everton on Saturday, according to injury expert, Ben Dinnery."

I was hoping for a result but with this shocking piece of unexpected news I'm no longer so optimistic.
