I can’t stand Everton or Dyche and hope they get relegated. 3-0 to us all day long
I can.  Everton aren't the enemy.  Our clubs have got a lot in common and I'm not sure why some seem to dislike them so much.  Obviously I hope we give them a good twatting on Saturday, but there's probably 17 other clubs in the league I'd rather see relegated before them.

Forest before you ask.
I’m not sure what they’ve got in common with us but I’ve always disliked them. They top my list of clubs I’d like to see go down this season and every season actually.

Founder members, similar size fanbase, similar honours achieved. Ive also thought there a similar club to us in some ways. Also similar in that they have looked like they are due to go down after a number of poor seasons and being run seemingly badly, like us by 2016. Although Dyche coming in and Leeds, Bournemouth and Southampton doing everything they can to get relegated, may prevent them getting relegated for another season.
Hopefully then they’ll emulate us and go down this season.

Emery said on Everton
"We have to prepare our set pieces because we have to improve as we conceded some goals from set-pieces in the last match against Arsenal.
We are very demanding in how we can improve, especially against Everton who are a threat from set-pieces.”

Yes, one from our own set piece, as we all vividly recall!
Arsenal used the short corner routine repeatedly last week, and we didn't adjust quickly enough. That was aggravating me!
Everton will almost certainly try to offer a different routine on their set plays and Dyche Ball itself and Villa need to be ready.

Although Mings signed a new deal before the Arsenal game……

I used to share a rehearsal studio with kasabian in earl shilton , yes that shit hole , pretentious lot to be fair .in fact I've nicked a Moog pedal off them.

Now you can understand why I hate us losing to Leicester.

It's only fair, since they nicked their entire act from The Mission.

Haha

Brilliant. I went to school in Desford from 1996-2000 and had the misfortune of going out with a girl from Earl Shilton

Grew up in Barlestone, however and have watched so many Villa games in Hinckley pubs.

I have pre-Albion game levels of butterflys about this. Too many Evertonian mates, perhaps a mix of the Emery standards ought to be higher too. But I want us to really hammer these today and their meat and two veg Dinosaur football.

I think the players Dyche has inherited are more suited to his style, than ours currently are to Emery's. I think they'll nick it.

Been lording it over them nicely since 2019 though, 5 wins from 7 games.

It's incredible how our record v them can be so good and yet so abysmal v West Ham in similar period of time considering both clubs have a similar profile in terms of line ups and general league status.

Despite recent results psychologically we should be in good heart for this on the bus to Goodison.

First goal will be key but they are down the bottom of table for a reason....match them physically and we win.

Didn’t work out that way with Leicester.
