I actually don’t know why I’ve come back for the 2nd half - maybe it’s morning curiosity.
Plus we need to inject some gallows humour in here.
We look so unenergetic and lethargic.
Yeah their team is much better than us but they're working twice as hard as we are.
Bailey you are fucking shit.
Fucking hell Bailey, you wanker.
I’m currently drinking Ukrainian Orange Wine. It’s very different, interesting and constantly evolving.
Very different.
Château de Pripyat can be a nice drop but I'd give the '86 a miss.
Back five by the look of it. Sad but the right decision in this situation.
I remember Ashley Young diving against us to win a penalty in exactly the same way and look who is playing for now
Not the same. He was never supposed to be one of us and our only hope against the Cartel clubs.
We look so unenergetic and lethargic.
Yeah their team is much better than us but they're working twice as hard as we are.
This is something we have lacked for years! We do not work hard!
It's not the villa way
Bailey is sooo easily nudged off the ball!
There’s too much teddy throwing recently by the obvious characters on here.
I understand the frustration but it’s blindingly obvious we couldn’t get the players emery wanted - otherwise we end up with that bloated squad that is disastrous long term.
This lot can do this to anyone on their day - it doesn’t help that we handed it to them. The guy we’ve got is a winner and he knows what to do.
Whether Martinez, Kamara etc will be around to see it so what…..good managers will find replacements.
Hopefully we will be pissing ourselves laughing at Man City by the end of the season and this game will just be foot note
This result was entirely predictable the moment they lost away to Spurs. As much was we like to think the current score is about “us” - and we HAVE been poor - losing today was pretty much inevitable. I thought by three, but god knows what it’ll be now…
I said before the Leicester game that we had to win, otherwise our form in three games time would look pretty terrible, and I still think that’s the case. The difference to some merely being that I still 100% believe in Unai and the process he’s started.
He’s the best chance we’ve had in a long time to sort this mess out. We need to give him total control of the transfer policy and whatever else he wants.
Our record against these beggars belief, even before they spent the money
Oh for the days when it was more competitive when Stuart Pearce was managing them and you had Distin turning into peak Beckenbaeur v us and dribbling from halfway line and scoring at VP!
