What a dreadful squad we have, absolutely abysmal. This is on Emery and those higher up. “I am so, so happy with the squad.” Fuck off.

When you look at what Brighton, Fulham and Brentford are doing, if I was one of the owners I’d be knocking on the door of some of my staff who’d been making decisions on new players.
The squad has had a weak underbelly for a while and always revert back to type eventually. We’ve needed muscle and leaders for so long now and I just don’t get why it hasn’t been addressed. If I was confident I’d say wait until the summer but going by last month I’m not. There so much to sort out yet again, what has the plan been for the last few years?

This result was entirely predictable the moment they lost away to Spurs. As much was we like to think the current score is about “us” - and we HAVE been poor - losing today was pretty much inevitable. I thought by three, but god knows what it’ll be now…

I said before the Leicester game that we had to win, otherwise our form in three games time would look pretty terrible, and I still think that’s the case.  The difference to some merely being that I still 100% believe in Unai and the process he’s started.

Omnishambles.  Doesn't mater how good they are, we are lazy, in awe of them, can't control the ball properly.  Can't wait for the summer to come along but I just hope we don't get dragged back into a lower table scramble.  This is truly crap.  Ramsey on the right side of midfield does not work. Shove the process up your arse Emery, sort out the weeds.

Why are our fans not taking to Emery? I reckon 90% of clubs in our position be over the moon to get Emery?

I don't understand- genuinely baffled by some of our fans.

I love the bloke and am glad he's our Manager, but he's not playing he right system for the players he inherited and he also needs the time to fuck a lot of this shit off.

In my opinion getting Emery is one of the best things to happen our club since the 1990s. But I don't see that reflected on here- it baffles me.

If not Emery who exactly is going to get the patience to take us back near the top end of the table?

One fan, having a moan at the formation and the lack of effort of the players is not 'an Emery out' brigade.  The football is bad enough to endure without trying to start something that really isn't there.

Yeah I’ve seen hardly any anti Emery stuff and rightly so. His CV is at a level we haven’t had here for many years and he’s only been here a few months. That said not everyone is going to agree with every aspect of what he’s done so far, but I think 99% of us know that with some patience and proper backing in the transfer window he should do better than anyone has for a while.

Interesting to see that we worried them enough they decided to take off Haaland so as they can be more solid defensively.

Samatta scored against this lot, at Wembley no less. I'd be putting Duran on just for the craic.

I'm surprised they bothered to replace him.

January is when you buy players like Chambers, saying we missed an opportunity is just bollocks.

Or when you buy players like Virgil Van Dijk and Luis Suarez.

We may not be able to compete with these but to not even try...

Yeah. I'm trying to convince myself that they are just better players and that there's nothing we can do to arrest this but I just can't...

We last picked up league points there in 2007 and have had many big reverses, it's a far worse ground than Old Trafford these days where we're pretty competitive.

Our record against these beggars belief, even before they spent the money

It looks like a practice match for Man C
