I was very confused reading this thread as it seemed all wrong, checked the date and it was correct. Then read on some more and Risso was back... Checked again and I'd last read it exactly a year ago.

Anyway, I like him, he did well then clearly fell out of favour again. Pleased with the deal.

I wish he’d come back, he’s a very decent sort is Risso, always offers great advice and has an excellent taste in music.

40% sell-on....for a 32 year old. Way to go, Monchi!

I'm guessing that means we've given him a free? And we're just covering ourselves in case they move him on in the next 12 months for a quick profit?

Will him getting a free mean a PSR hit. Or, if I've understood correctly how PSR works (in terms of amortising the transfer fee over the length of the contract), if you let someone go for free in the last year of their contract the PSR hit is exactly the same as if you kept them on the books - i.e. that last chunk of their transfer fee is accounted for this "this" year either way?

He looked very good for a time, there were reports that Man City were looking at him for their problem left back spot, so to fall so out of favour so spectacularly both here and at Forest seems a little odd. The injury must have really taken it out of him.

No sentimentality from us these days is there. Bang. Gone.

He did ok at Forest, so I wonder why he fell out of favour here.

Neat player, all the best!

Him and JJ were a great combo in spring 2023.

Good player but I think his biggest impact was in helping push Digne to become such a reliable left back.

Careful, Alex could accuse you of gaslighting. You know - I was a top Villan in my own right etc.

Also a timely reminder that our full backs are allowed to attack. I wish him nothing but the best.

Losing him is a big hit to our Beautiful Man account balance.

I'm still reeling from Carlos' departure.

I was in Gerona earlier this year. Imagine having to wear this?

It looks like a Croatia strip.
