Yeah, they put in an offer on the last day of the window and we turned it down because there wasn't time to bring in a replacement.

He's been thankful ever since.

Probably worth having him around until Christmas next season, unless there unexpected cash available to buy an alternative.

I'd rather have Sanson back, he would have got plenty of game-time in recent months. Assume his move will be made permanent, he's done well in Ligue Une this season by all accounts.

Not for me. We have lots of 8s in mcginn, tielemans, luiz but only have kamara (injured) and Tim (young) who are genuinely defensive midfielders.
