In an ideal world he's brilliant for them, plays every game but two, and in those two his replacement is useless and destabilises the entire team.

Good luck to him.  I wonder if the 'option to buy' includes a fixed price? It would be nice to think a successful season for him could earn us a few quid more, but I suspect the price (if they want him), is already set?

Also, this says good things about Digne, whose seen the new manager bring in competition for his place, and has seen him off, despite all the signs being he'd be the one to leave last summer.  Hopefully he and Maastsen can push each other to new heights this season!

He's never let us down and was terrific before he got injured at Anfield.

🚨⚪️🔴 Alex Moreno has completed his medical and signs two year deal at Girona.

Deal sealed, as
@Nilsola10
 reported. 🔐

He was brilliant for us for that first half season. Not how I would have thought the rest of his time here would go.

A big hit to our handsome ranking too.

Didn't do much wrong or right . Some players just don't suit the EPL . Adios .

I really liked the Digne Moreno alternating, it worked really well for a while.

Brilliant for a few months in the spring of 2023 and the tackle/block at Anfield that got him injured, was immense. Good luck to him.
