Not good news for Jack Draper drawn to play Nadal in the first round of the Aussie Open, Murray also got a tough one, will play Matteo Berrettini.

Actually Draper may have a better chance than I thought, didn't realise Nadal's form since the US Open has been so bad, has lost 6 out 7 matches, having said that it's a grand slam and reckon Nadal will win in 4 sets. Good news that Raducanu is fit, hopefully there will be no more injuries, for a while.

Raducanu a bit hesitant and ragged to begin with. Probably working out whether she could trust her ankle, and a bit out of practice. Improved, and looks a lot fitter. Easy win in the end, but looks as if she will still need to play her way into the tournament, and bad timing to be facing next an in-form Gauff. But she showed glimpses of form to suggest that she can win, and Gauff can be a bit fragile under pressure. If Raducanu can get past next round I will start to get a bit excited about the tenner I have at 150/1.

Pity about Draper, was doing well, until he starting suffering with cramp, beaten in 4 sets, Norrie through in 3 sets.

As expected Raducanu lost, but much better performance in the 2nd set, had 2 set points and ending up losing in the tie break. Not looking good for Nadal, picked up another injury on his way to losing to Mackenzie McDonald in 3 straight sets. Wouldn't be surprised, if he called it a day at the end of the year, if not sooner.

After 5 hrs 45 mins Andy Murray comes from 2 sets down to win in 5, gotta be one of his best performances, since all his injury woes started. Now played nearly 11 hours so far, not sure how his body gonna be, when he plays again on Saturday.
