I’m thinking 1-1  don’t care who scores but once again I hope Archer starts

A draw would be a bloody good result.

You would change the team from last week?
Interesting that the 10 mins Danks gave Archer last week was more than Gerrard had given him all season. Easy when your 4-0 ip i suppose, but Danks really did make every call the right one.

I keep Archer as sub and keep giving him more minutes from the bench.

He got exactly the same nine/ten minutes against Bournemouth, Forest and Fulham.

Geordies and Football are like New Zealanders and Rugby, perfectly decent people until you get them onto their 1 pet subject, and then they turn into tunnel visioned toss pots.

Archer played the first half of the U21 game on Wednesday. Bench at best.

Love this, especially living in NZ. It's so true CL.

I'd start the same team if everybody is fit. Official Twitter says Digne is in the squad, but I'd stick with Young.

Same. Young has been outstanding and does not deserve to be dropped unless he needs resting.

"So, apart from ... what have the Geordies ever done for us?!"

I've always been well-jeal of their metro. How are the new tram links coming along in Brum btw?

I haven't been to Newcastle in years, really looking forward to the trip and catching up with Mr Jameson, once of this parish.

There might be an argument for starting Ramsey for Watkins, if we need to be a little protective on that side but otherwise, same team.

Longest trip of the season. Two weeks ago I was dreading it, but now looking forward to the game. Same team as last week please.
