My point is, he probably unofficially will

I have friends that are A level managers locally, and the amount of data they get from computer systems is mind blowing. He would be able to analyse all of our games from remote

And Danks confirmed that Emery hasn’t been in touch. How could he expect to have an input anyway, before he’s taken a single second of training?

I think it would be highly disrespectful of a manager that hasn’t even officially arrived at the club yet to usurp the authority and credibility of the current staff by having input in the side. One that has finally won a game, and well. And the players, most who don’t even know him would probably not take well to that either. Which is why I don’t think there is any chance of it happening. Would he have received analytics, data, film etc? for sure so he can review with his incoming staff.

I have seen the system, where even players in Faroe Islands, you can see running patterns, pace, how much they run, passes. This is available for anyone paying the license. So it's not like starting from scratch

I agree, but if they have (as rumours say) been in contact for weeks, this may not be against anyone, but with them

On the train from Peterborough to Newcastle with my son. A really nice lad and his grandad have just got off at Doncaster to be replaced by a fat Newcastle fan who reeks of BO. Great.  Just the 90 minutes to go.

If its a Jimmy-Five Bellies type, does that mean he has 10 armpits, hence the BO?!

Lots of Archer talk. I’m sure we had this before with Luke Moore
and Stefan Moore, Vassell, Byfield to name a few 🤣

Vassell played for England and was a fine player.

Agreed. I loved Darius and hated when he went to those blue bastards up north.

A little bit more belief was need with Vassell, I thought. Him and Angel were a lovely partnership.
