I find it hard to believe that a control freak such as Emery did not have final sign of on the transfers.

He’s let’s MacPhee sort the set-pieces out during matches, so if he’s appointed a person to sort out transfers I don’t see why he’s doesn’t trust them, considering they are his men he’s selected to do so.
