We know Unai wants experience but we also must freshen up and lower the average age of the starting 11 over the next three transfer windows otherwise complying with UEFA with the 70% squad wage ratio will remain a significant challenge and we can't afford to breach it now.

I remember reading recently that we have the second oldest squad in the league, which feels strange given how many young players we have and that we don't have anyone *really* old.

Guess that core of late 20s / early 30s brings up average up significantly.

We had an iffy start but after eight games we are about par for where we should be. Three points ahead of Newcastle, one point ahead of Everton who are being lauded for a great start and just two points behind Spurs who were 'almost second' if they won today!

This man is a genius and deserves so much support and faith.

As I said in the match thread now he knows the tools he has to work with the magic starts

Agreed. I have been on holiday this week. I have been reading the book on him and was thinking the same.

Unai you are my hero you are the wind beneath my wings.

His favourite film is Beaches too, such a wonderful man in touch with his feelings and femininity.
