Saw somewhere speculation that Ratcliffe wanted to give Amorin the full Season. If it were to happen I imagine it would be at Season's end (due to the above and Unai wanting to have one more try at winning something.) As someone else said that would just about do it for me - think I'd take a prolonged (potentially permanent) sabbatical from all things AVFC.

There's no way Amorim lasts the season, in my arrogant opinion.

I'm sure I read there is a significantly smaller compensation sum if they sack him after October.

Ive always thought this might be Unais last season with us, simply just looking at the length of time he’s stayed at every other club. I’d be gutted if I’m right and double gutted if its them lot he goes to. Hopefully none of this pans out.

Liverpool, Brighton, Forest and Tottenham before the next international break should yield a sufficiently low return of points to punt him, I reckon.

Just in time for a nice new manager boost before they play us in December.

They are just as likely to win as lose a few.
I do not think they have reached end of the road time yet, it could still take a while.
The tapping up of their next Target / victim has probably started already though.
