Interesting article, not sure if it’s already been posted. And not sure which is the best thread to post this on….

Good read that Chico and confirms my theory that Emery is in a rush. It makes sense that he was willing to spend decent money on 32 year old full back, Acuna even if he could only really do the job for a season. It'd going to be an interesting window. I really hope Monchi lives up to his massive reputation.

Frankly, his win ratio of  over 58% to now, puts him miles ahead of any other manager in our entire history.

I have so much love and affection for SGT's first stint with us. Truly wonderful times but if SUE is a new generation's SGT then that makes me very happy indeed.  A decent man who is deserving of the comparison.

Taylor's legacy is tarnished.

Why have people failed to mention and address this ??
From the article  "Perhaps Emery’s nationality plays a role in the lack of appreciation for the work he has done at Villa."

That's absolutely despicable reading that in article..

More should be centres around the professor and lauded as El Mastero.

Not during the period it wasn’t. He was idolised.

You guys have flogged the “El Mastero” gag a bit too hard.

I'm removing the post with  details regards Taylor in the inquiry.
But what he did and said in his role was not ok to play down and cover up sexual abuse.

People have their own opinions on this topic and I respect that utterly. My own opinion is that SGT was as decent as the person he was thought to be.

I'm not talking about his football.

Confirmed to be our very own parishioner prompting the question.

Doesn’t quite compare to 7yo me getting his question answered in Gary Shaw’s first ever column in the Sports Argus, but not bad young beardy!

Unai's new haircut has taken a few years off him. He looks healthy too. Is he the perfect human?
