I don’t have a problem with calling out his mistakes, in my view he has made a few.
But any one suggesting that he is a bottler or using similar language can not be a Villa fan.
The guy has been tremendous.

Away from home, the only teams who have conceded more than our 19 are Sheffield Utd, Fulham, Luton, Forest, Bournemouth and West Ham. Newcastle are second bottom of the 'away' table, which is a crazy disparity from their home form.

5 of those 19 came in the first game of the season which was a match with a really particular set of circumstances.

I don’t understand.  I am as hard to impress as anyone but I don’t get why you seem so determined to find the cloud to this silver lining.

Yeah our away form could be better, but when you win 15 home games in a row, it is a tough audience that worries too much about it.

We are second in the league and are only a little over a year into this ‘project’.

To have got where we are is incredible but even more so when you think of the absolute shambles that fraud Gerrard left Emery to start with.

If he does even remotely as good in the second half of the season as the first, we are in for an incredible finish

I'm not attempting to find any clouds, just stating that there's a big disparity between our home and away form, as there is for most teams.
Which is fair comment, there is a significant change in the way we are setting up away compared to last season, it’s riskier and not allways paying off.
I hope he finds the solution, because, if he does we are In for an incredible time.

I'm proud he's our Manager and hope when Man Yew sack Ten Haag, the don't come sniffing.  With the right financial backing, Unai will keep us in the top 6 and this is the most exciting it's been for years.

A bottler?  Not a fucking chance.

Slight concerned about his eye today, looks like a nasty infection or something.

Looked like a sty to me, my youngest daughter has just had one. Few drops of antibiotic cream and he'll be right as rain in a couple of days.

No chance. People have implied, in an insulting way, that he only does well at "smaller" clubs. I think there's a level of truth in that, but in the sense that he's given time at "smaller" clubs to work his magic. I'm sure he could turn that Man U squad into the best team in the world, but between bad attitudes, boardroom politics, and fans with high expectations and zero patience, they'd turn on him within a few weeks.

I doubt they will, he's too classy to wear polo necks.

Didn't he have one earlier in the season, too?

Usually occurs because of low immunity, stress, tiredness.

I had loads when I was about 13/14.
I'd discovered wanking.

Constantly touching his face like he does won’t help either.

I’m worried for him.  Hope the stress of this job is not getting to him.  One bloke had a heart attack once.
