they have been very disappointing though.

There's a 5-week break, clubs will undoubtedly need some match practice time. Dean Smith always liked these and his Norwich and other teams from Championship as well as the Premier league clubs will be having some of those friendly games behind closed doors to keep players match sharp.
I'd welcome them.

There's a least half a day spent trying to work out how to register for the company benefits scheme to take advantage of the 2% discount at Oak Furnitureland.

The rest of the week is a basically a write off.

This is all giving me shudders. I can't believe I used to have a job. Jobs are absolutely shit.

Though, in the words of that daft vegan racist bellend Morrissey, some jobs are shitter than others. I think that's what it was anyway.

The ones where everything works and they expect you to hit the ground running are the ones which sound rough to me.
