Bouba is usually a quick healer. I think he'll make the away game against Newcastle in about 2 weeks. We also need Onana to return ASAP. Those two DM's are vital in our set-up.

Not a complete catastrophe, expected worse.

I rate Paulinha and wanted us to sign him from Fulham. Now I hope he gets food poisoning.

I don't, he's a liability because he can't tackle without fouling his man, Onana and Kamara are miles ahead of him and Bogarde didn't look overwhelmed either.

I said on another thread I remember him coming to Villa Park with Fulham with everyone raving about him, and it was as if McGinn had taken said praise as some kind of personal insult as he spent 90 minutes deconstructing him as a footballer.

I remember it, one of McGinn's best games for us. Destroyed him. Bayern still bought Paulhinha. He's a decent player but 31 in the summer. Classic Spurs signing in the summer for decent money and his legs go 6 months later.

“Kamara, of course, is out,” said the Villa boss. “It’s his knee.

“We’re checking him, he’s visiting some doctors as well.

“We’re going to know about him in a few days.

“Now, he’s not available, and maybe for a long time, hopefully not so, so long time but we’re checking him.”

Luckily we have super benevolent owners and no debt so we will be able to go out and replace him.

Given his injury record, that doesn't sound good at all.
