If he was English, he'd be getting plenty of attention.  Honestly, the less said about him in the media the better. I think as long as he's getting in the French squad (which I'm sure is a professional aim), then his going under the radar and not being sold by media from right under our noses is a good thing.

Interestingly, Onana has had a few plaudits recently but I wonder if that's because the narrative gets to talk about his fee, and him "justifying it at last".

France have half a dozen in Kamara position who are top class bit like England with attacking wide(r) players / number 10s.

If he was English he’d be bigged up more

If he signed for city Chelsea PSG Barcelona he’d be in the national squad
Unfortunately This is a classic case of he’s not in the national team because of who he plays for whether we like it or not, it’s one of the reasons players want to leave sometimes
Didn’t Luca Digne get back in the national squad recently?

I’m not sure it is, I think it’s more that France are absolutely stacked in that position.

Whilst the others may have been more noticeable for me this man was majestic today or as usual.

Given everyone else is being bumped - name me another defensive midfielder who would have that presence of mind to hold off two players and nudge the ball a yard to their left in a crowded penalty area after a ten second scrum.

Your Declan Rices of this world would have spooned that right into the Holte.

He is an utter phenomenon. I’m going to say easily one of the most underrated players around.

The commentary on the radio read out our stats since he’s been back fit and in the side. He’s incredible and a vital cog in the machine.

I keep Cash is surprisingly our player of the season so far, or maybe Torres, or SJM….but this lad is incredible, just a brilliant brilliant player.

Kamara is 2nd behind Pau for me, then Cash, McGinn, Rogers and Tielemans all pretty close behind. It's no shock how well we're doing when so many of the team are in such good form.

I think Konsa deserves a mention as well - always a bit underappreciated is Ezri.
