He found it tough for a lot of last season, you could see the stamina wasn't quite there and he was a little off the pace but this year he' looking back to his very best. If we can keep him fit he's one of the best DMs in world football for me.

It looked like a "Best of Kamara" with added Tielemans good bits performance, to me.

Kamara has a bit of the McGrath performances about him in that we just take his high level every week for granted because that’s what we expect and that’s what we get

He was exceptional yesterday (apart from losing possession once)
I’ve said that the only truly world class player we have is Martinez but this fella is getting close
After Rodri he’s the best DM in the league imo and proved it again yesterday

Playing alongside Onana gives him more space to do things other than defend, and he's a good ball-player so it really benefits him to be in the double-pivot.

He was immaculate yesterday, other than losing the ball that once towards the end, as John mentions.  It is a surprise he gets such little attention from the media.

I still prefer him alongside Tielemans, though.

Agree, it was one hell of a performance on the back of a few recently.
I said that I do not think there is better player in his position at the moment.

Other than Rodri, it's a position that doesn't tend to get much acclaim.

Just an unbelievable player. World class. One of the best number 6s in Europe and seemingly no one apart from us knows he's there!

Wharton, rightly, gets props for Palace. And Xhaka, the madman reborn at Sunderland. Less so Idrissa Gana "I hate the Gays" Gueye. Good.

If he was English, he'd be getting plenty of attention.  Honestly, the less said about him in the media the better. I think as long as he's getting in the French squad (which I'm sure is a professional aim), then his going under the radar and not being sold by media from right under our noses is a good thing.

Interestingly, Onana has had a few plaudits recently but I wonder if that's because the narrative gets to talk about his fee, and him "justifying it at last".

Totally disagree. He's a classic 4 not a 6. 6's play alongside the centre halves.

France have half a dozen in Kamara position who are top class bit like England with attacking wide(r) players / number 10s.

If he was English he’d be bigged up more
