I get the feeling (completely unsubstantiated, obvs) that this is exactly why SG has started him today. You think you’re too good fo sign a new contract?

I haven't,  just in this game though

Well subbing him off in the first half in a nothing game for us wouldn't do a huge amount for his confidence and development would it?
Or calibrate his head?
And if he can't handle that,  he isn't that good

If Liverpool can start Harvey Elliot in a match that they have to win to stay in the title race, we can use a match against Burnley where it doesn't matter if we win or lose, if it's beneficial in the long term.
