6-0.

Villa to go at it like they did against Spurs but this time we'll get the breaks and Norwich will collapse.

I might even stick a fiver on it with the turf accountant. The score. Not the going at it bit.

Forget the sentimental aspect, as I doubt very much Smith will be approaching the match with that mentality.

Has to be a good performance and a good win.

A trifle optimistic, it'll be 5-1.

My first game back at VP since Covid. An ugly 1-0 win will suit me.
hoping for a 5-0 though!

3-0, 3 points.

I'd go with Ads team but with Ings instead of Ollie.

Notwithstanding the added factor of a former manager wanting a good performance at his old club if we can’t win this then Gerrard should pack it in and find another outlet for his talents.

Hopefully the players will similarly not want to be beaten by their old boss so we’ll see a straightforward forward win.
This.

We are usually OK against Norwich.
They have been here 35 times and won just 4.
This is a particularly poor Norwich side.

1-0 victory. The Grader on the rebound.

I remember playing these at home, possibly last game of the season or close to it around the early 90’s, pretty sure it was 3-3. I’m sure someone will be able to be a tad more accurate with the finer points.
Also remember singing about Robert Rosario and his caravan….different times!!
We really should be putting these to bed on Saturday.

Great, thanks for that. So it was last home game before the 3-3 at Everton? What a day that was!

Before my time but was the song about Rosario, some sort of anti-traveller/gypsy thing?

Correct, that was the connotation behind mentioning him and caravan in the same sentence.

I had no idea you knew so much about caravans, and those who dwell in them, Lee.
