While Jacob Ramsey wasn't at the top of his game today he was 💯 up for it. In matches like that the fact he is as hard as nails and doesn't bat an eyelid in physical games really shows. Love to see it in such a young player. Fearless.

The Countinho song is class!

What is the Coutinho song?

Crap.

? Oddball.

He went to Barca and won the league in Spain
He went to Munich and won the league again
He's fucking magic
And don't you fucking know
His name Philippe
Philippe Countinho!

Together with excessive bouncing about. To the tune of Salt n Pepper Push It.

Thought it was a very noisy affair from our lot, in stark contrast to the absolute shite that their fans are. Clothes honk of pyro though. Grim.

I can't imagine the words to the music. Anyone got a video?

Haven't read this thread yet.
A great hard fought win today. Well done lads. It was nice to see Coutinho get 70 mins. Buendia's goal was a fantastic header.
A good 1st half from us and a resilient 2nd. After half time Everton became even more of a pub team reliant on their physicality and little else. Mings (who edged motm for me ahead of Buendia) stood up to them and was an awesome captain today leading the team.
What a miserable barstool Richarlison is and he should have been booked in the 1st half for a number of incidents. They don't half have some w*nkers for fans with that bottle/coin throwing incident. Never mind thanks for the 6 points this season toffees!

My highlight of the match was Tim Howard on US TV calling out Jon Champion for saying it was the player's fault thugs chucked bottles at them. So rare a pundit actually makes any sense. Much more fun than that second half.

OK I've heard the Coutinho song now.

It's better than most just a shame it's not original and the swearing.

I would say throw the book at him but 2 wrongs don't make a right.

However we got it, it was critical to get a win today. Not just to stop the run of poor results, our first league win in 5 I believe but we have a massive break until Leeds at home.

When is that Burnley game being rescheduled for?

This win is a great start to watching weekend football. And it's always good to finish well when a break starts. Can't wait for Leeds home sometimes in the next millennium.

And that will be hopefully the last time we play them at home in the top league for at least another millennium.

Not seen a date. It seems barmy not to be rearranging postponed games, regardless of any FA 'rules'.

I thought we withstood well the long ball game they opted for in the 2nd half, although we didn't get out so well. Ferguson won't get the job with those tactics.

The ground is old but I still enjoyed the walk through Stanley Park, made better by the win.
