We barely touched the ball but inexplicably won the game with that Joe Hart howler. So it can happen. That game was daylight robbery. Superb.

Apologies but couldn’t see correct thread for this. With the ongoing issues with trains after the game can anyone suggest where to park before the game. Coming in from South Brum.

I don't think he will be fit by the sounds of it, but expect he might start if he is anywhere near ready. Water under the bridge now, but I still think there would have been a bit of him that was sad to leave the club, yet felt it was something he had to do and he made his decision. If he does play, I would rather he is largely ignored than have abuse aimed at him. With the arrival of Steven Gerrard and after the start we have made under him, it feels like we have finally moved on from him.

After reading that Torygraph puff piece in which Joe bangs on about how close he came to leaving three years in a row I hope he gets absolute dog's abuse from every corner of Villa Park. And I hope Purslow never, ever invites him to any of our games again. He's a Judas.

Ings is out then. From Gerrard's comments about managing Young, he might not start this one I reckon.
