Nope, jumped on the toll road, thankfully.

Did anyone notice the United players complaining about our goal being offside, or protesting that De Gea had been fouled by Ollie? No? That's right, OGS, they didn't because there was nothing wrong with our goal!

Took the words right out of my mouth--spot on, i never noticed one Utd player moan about the goal,to the ref nor linesman,----just sour grapes trying to bemoan our win---pathetic, he never moaned last season when Ezri was penalised for that foul--by Fernandes from which they were given a penalty.!!

If you put the Man Utd hoodoo aside (which was obviously on all our minds) and look at the game outside of that, we actually dealt with them quite comfortably. The sh*thouseary on the penalty and even Mcginn’s needless yellow earlier (which was him making a point) show a side that genuinely believe they belong near the top of the table and not just making up the numbers. I love the attitude of everyone involved at Villa to convey that sense of belonging. Getting up the noses of the manc reds means we’re majorly on the right road. And I don’t even think the side has clicked yet. There’s much more to come.

I watched Courtney Hauses interview on villa tv this morning, only a couple of minutes long, but he basically they all believe they as good as anyone in the league. He also went on to its the manager who instills that belief in them.

It didn’t work with one of them but that’s more to do with him not being the brightest.

The funniest thing about beating them, has to be Fernandes issuing a statement about his penalty miss.
They are so far up their own arses.

I love that Smith brought a striker on in Archer, instead of trying to hold out for a draw. It could have backfired and we might have conceded/lost, but I’d be ok with that because this mindset is ace.

To be fair Nakamba did the same after the Chelsea game.

First time I’ve been in England and we’ve beaten Manyoo at their place.. I was a student in Paris in 1983 and was living in Shanghai in 2009. I joked to my nephew on Friday that I’d need to move abroad before kick off for us to win yesterday.

Pleased to say I don’t have to move back to China for us to beat them.

What a crap stadium Old Trafford is by the way. OK it's huge, but it feels old and outdated and not in a historic way. Plus having no big screens in the stadium is really small time. Only good thing about it is it's much easier to get away from than Villa Park. An hour after the final whistle yesterday I was on the M6 going past Stoke. Leaving VP I'd be lucky to be on the Expressway by then.

Were you in the away end Risso or did you have to sit on your hands? I’ve seen a few Villa fans on Twitter posting pics from various parts of the ground, including one bloke who went full on nuts after the goal or the penalty, with people around him just staring - luckily for him.

I haven’t been to Old Trafford since 1990 but remember it being impressive back then.

Old Trafford is very Manchester, all big and showy but when you lift the lid, there isn't much substance and a classic case of size over style.

OGS is a terrible manager. Two extremely average midfielders in Fred and McTominay sitting in front of the defence, Sancho on the bench and he seems to have completely ruined Mason Greenwood, who a couple of seasons back I thought was just about the most promising young English player in the Premier League.

B
Great innit?

Maybe Greenwood could join Villa and get some proper coaching?
