But got an assist late in a game, that’ll do.

He created two goalscoring chances but in the main was really poor. It's like he has forgotten how to play the game

He's looking better, but is he just a one trick pony?  Defenders know he's cutting in on his left.  Needs to develop the ability to get to the line and deliver on his weaker foot.

He looks like he’s trying to hard to make it happen. A dribble too much, or a pass a little too late. The effort is there. The precision and execution is missing from the version we saw last season.

Didn't he used to play on the left sometimes?

I’m don’t know why we don’t switch our wingers around at times. I guess the way Emery plays is more controlled and less of the chaos which that might bring to our full backs.

One shot straight at the keeper you mean? He slowed down all our attacks, and his passing at times was so bad.most of attacks broke down because of him.

One goal in league  all season not good enough  in my opinion

Time for both parties to move on in the summer I think.  Could try and part-exchange him for another option.

When he was in his pomp last year he was trusting his right foot to shoot and cross now and again. He was starting to mix up his game and full backs were getting twisted blood.

His confidence now still seems on the floor as there were obvious opportunities for him to swing crosses in with his right foot tonight but each time he either checked back and lost momentum or he just ran out of pitch.

He’s just been so indecisive this season. Waits and waits until somebody just takes the ball off him. Sometimes waits until 2 or 3 defenders are lined up between him and the goal, at that point a simple pass to someone in that space he’s made would be ideal.

Yeah, the waiting he does so often is what is really exhausting me.

That’s about the best Leon has played all year admittedly against lower Championship oppo. If he could just find some end product he’d be world class, too many wrong options, blind alleys and one touch too many’s tonight. Hopefully it’ll click for him over the coming weeks.

Rashford should’ve scored from his cross.  They both desperately needed that goal.

I'd be looking to cash in on Bailey in the summer whilst his value is relatively high. We need much better .

Surely the sensible time to cash in was last summer?

I want Bailey to be a success here but he’s way below what he delivered last season.
I’ve absolutely no idea what’s going on with him but last night I thought he was just ok but still underwhelming. Every time he plays I wonder if this will be the game he rediscovers his form and it’s just not happened. I think he’s got until the end of the season to sort himself out otherwise I can’t see him being here next season which would be disappointing.

There's always the hope because we know what he can do but he's had a woeful season
