Regardless of what we think of Leon, the opposition usually send two out handle him. I think it shows a degree of respect.

Exactly.

Maybe, but it was a low bar in the first place
If we could get decent money for him in the summer I’d definitely sell, he’s just not effective enough for me in his general  play making too many wrong decisions,  I find him Very frustrating to watch

Sometimes, with wingers especially, you have to play them into form so I would give him a run of starts now to build-up confidence and build a rapport with García on the right.

Emery must see something in him. Game after game regardless of form he plays.

He hasn't had many other options.  Think they got it badly wrong with Philogene in the summer and it has left us with a lack of options there all season really.

Thought he would have tried Asensio on the right but he hasn't to my memory thus far, very much at 10 and Rashford on left. Rogers is really poor in Bailey's position. McGinn has been filling holes everywhere again this season but think that spot suits him perfectly when we have everybody fit. I guess Malen will push hard there eventually for a spot but you can see why Emery continues to give Bailey every chance.

I'd be looking to cash in on Bailey in the summer whilst his value is relatively high. We need much better .

Surely the sensible time to cash in was last summer?
He'd just had a superb season though so keeping him made sense . Sadly he's regressed badly and this summer I'd cash in .

No, selling assests that are about to decrease in worth when they're at their most valuable is what makes sense.

Rather than trying to bin them off in a panic once they've lost that value.

Bailey will still attract good money pretty certain of that

Might be unrealistic, but I'd be looking to.include him in a part-exchange deal for Jarrod Bowen.

All very well in hindsight. I don’t think many expected his form to fall off a cliff. He was key to our success last season, so to sell him after that would have been ludicrous.

So are you going to encourage cashing in on Tielmans during the summer?

No, but I did think that Bailey was the most sensible  PSR sacrifice last summer and said so at the time.

As I thought he'd be very unlikely to maintain his form from last season into this one.

It was interesting to see how heavily he featured in the MOTD highlights. He might not have done much, but in pretty much all of our most important moments he was key!

If we get a decent offer in summer, I'd sell. Six good months out of 4 seasons is a pretty crap return.

Yep, Dave called that in the summer, I remember so fair play.

Bowen is my dream signing but after Danny Dyer professing his undying love for him on a chatshow the other night, I think Jarrod would be too scared to leave the 'ammers, regardless of his footballing ambition.
