I'd be looking to cash in on Bailey in the summer whilst his value is relatively high. We need much better .

Surely the sensible time to cash in was last summer?
He'd just had a superb season though so keeping him made sense . Sadly he's regressed badly and this summer I'd cash in .

No, selling assests that are about to decrease in worth when they're at their most valuable is what makes sense.

Rather than trying to bin them off in a panic once they've lost that value.

All very well in hindsight. I don’t think many expected his form to fall off a cliff. He was key to our success last season, so to sell him after that would have been ludicrous.

So are you going to encourage cashing in on Tielmans during the summer?
Exactly . Be like cashing in on Rogers this summer . Ludicrous.

Yep, Dave called that in the summer, I remember so fair play.

Bowen is my dream signing but after Danny Dyer professing his undying love for him on a chatshow the other night, I think Jarrod would be too scared to leave the 'ammers, regardless of his footballing ambition.
Isn't Bowen's dad a villa fan . Just saying ...

Sometimes, with wingers especially, you have to play them into form so I would give him a run of starts now to build-up confidence and build a rapport with García on the right.
Strange Tony Morley was never so bad
Morely was my first football hero as a kid, I was 8 when we won the European Cup and he was just the most exciting player. However, did he carry on with this form for four or five years? Asking the question genuinely as I was a bit too young to have a clear memory of it. I know he was part of Dougs premature and ego driven dismantling of our league/european cup winning team, but I thought I’d read somewhere, that Morely’s form wasn’t really the same four years in when we sold him?

Just saying i suppose as Bailey has been here for three and a half years now. I know he was injury hit with poor form for the first half of that time, then brilliant last season. I don’t think he’s as bad as some make out of late, just nowhere near as dynamic as last year. I just wonder whether most wingers have a shelf life in terms if their very best form, other than the very best.

Regardless of what we think of Leon, the opposition usually send two out handle him. I think it shows a degree of respect.

He's clearly out of form and lacking confidence, but I agree that this is also having a big impact on his output. His success last year meant that teams started paying more attention to him. And for all of Diaby's faults, he did a good job of attracting defenders away from Bailey, particularly because of his pace.

Of not much use in defending. Lost his man who then scored their goal.

Apparently we’ve never lost a game when he’s scored. Can’t be bothered to check, will just blindly believe it

Danny Dyer was on the radio this morning singing his praises. The DJ jokingly asked him how he'd feel if he left West Ham, and he said he'd still love him, but if he went to Spurs he could f**k off, basically. I think he'd still allow him in the house if he came to us.

Got the distinct impression over recent games that all is not well between Leon and his teammates (especially his skipper) and he looks like he’s playing for a move.

I mean, I'm not his biggest fan, but that's a whole lot of assumption.

Bit of a leap that?

A fair point.

There have been a few revealing moments however. There was the brouhaha over that free kick last night - was that why he was hauled off at half time? - which seemed to piss off Digne, SJM and Ty.

Then there was an argument with SJM when we were defending a free kick versus Palace.

There was another free kick incident a few games ago, too.

Also another run-in with SJM late in a recent game (can’t recall which one) where Leon had gone down, as is his wont, like a sack of spuds. As I think we were chasing the game, SJM tried to haul him up, but Bailey was having none of it. There were definitely sparks.

Maybe it’s nothing, but the incidents are stacking up.
