Why was he allowed to take that free kick yesterday and fuck it up royally when Digne was best placed for it .
Sooner he's gone the better , we get flashes but ultimately he's a passenger in most games has not built on last season. Cash in , get rid.

I do wonder whether Emery's losing patience with him and whether he'll look to sell him in the summer.

He’s so bloody frustrating as he’s obviously put a bit of work in to get back to something like his best over the past few weeks with a couple of encouraging performances and then he throws in a stinker like Saturday night. <throws hands in the air>

In Unai we trust etc.....except here.  Starting Bailey away at Palace and Brentford seems so obviously flawed that I must be missing something.

I think he's being too patient with him actually. I think he likes the fact that Bailey is
a perceived risk by the opposition hence the two defenders on him when he's in possession. The trouble is, Bailey doesn't use that to the team's advantage due to delaying out balls or just generally fannying about with the ball for the sake of it.

I can’t see him being here next season.
I’m surprised he’s got as much game time as he has. Emery must see him as a benefit for the team but his individual performances have been way off the mark.

I don’t disagree, but Bailey came on as a half time sub at Palace the other week.  The fact that he didn’t seem to know where he was meant to be playing was what had me perplexed.

I've no problem with him being in the team when he's drawing the attention of two players, the problem then is that he hasn't been finding a way out often enough to help the team exploit it.

That said, his finish the other night was spot on, and it seems to me like he's becoming more creative, albeit defensively he seems like a headless chicken.

Don't think he's a winger anymore, lost some speed and is very predictable, play him more centrally as he has a good pass and shot on him.

He's not a central player at all, for me.

That wasn't Bailey's fault v Palace. Emery had a nightmare. It's a real pity Bailey hasn't been able to get any momentum this season. But it's not for the lack of chances. He was brutal at Brentford.
