He’s got quite a few assists for us using his weaker foot and even a goal or two.

I thought he was our best attacking outlet last night.  Some of his passes went a lite off, but he was at least trying to be positive.

When you play against such an unambitious side, someone has to take risks in the final third to open them up, that player was Bailey, even if it didn’t always work.

I think he’s developed into an important player for us.

Exactly what I thought. He kept trying something different and wasn’t put off when it didn’t work.

Very accurate with his corners and thought he worked hard all night.

I thought he was bang average last night. If his first touch was ok there were many instances whereby his second or third wasn’t.

This. I'd have hooked him instead of Tielemans and played Zaniolo on the right, which I believe is his preferred position. That way we'd see whether Zaniolo is any better playing there.

When Diaby played a bit wider in Bailey's spot, he looked a lot better there than Leon. Diaby is quicker and has much better touch and control. If we had somebody else who could play next to Ollie I reckon Diaby would do well wide right.

I thought he was pretty poor last night, particularly the first half. He lost possession pretty much every time he got the ball, and some of his decision-making was well off.
Yes, I agree, he did finally work out that he needed to get down the line and onto his right foot; which was good.

It may not have been his best game but he still looked the most likely to create something for most of the game.

That's because he was. Lot's of criticism for him last night but he was directly involved in all of our chances and goals/disallowed. He is frustrating but I notice that Diaby hasn't been criticised in the same way and I thought he was almost invisible last night and didn't threaten all night

It's his decision-making that infuriates me. An impact sub at best.

Back to his usual infuriating self last night , shame as he's had a couple of decent games prior

I think this point was made in the Zaniolo thread when people were saying he should be dropped and Bailey played instead. Neither of them seem to be 90 minute players at the moment. Bailey can come on for 30 minutes when we're already in control of a game, he can change things, he can score, he can create. But he can't seem to start 2 games in a row and put in a solid performance both times.
