Also, runs like a girl.

Must we use casual misogyny?
I think he is out on loan.

It's a cracker!

Seriously though, what does a girl run like? I know Zola Budd caused some controversy way back when she nobbled Mary Decker.

Raheem Sterling.

Fair play, so.

Anyway, I am now searching for for Laura Woods content to see if it works for me.

No, no, no, Sterling runs like a Velociraptor. Definitely that.

I'd take Sterling on a free if his wages were a fraction of what he's on now.

So I wouldn't take Sterling.

But he is better than Bailey. I'd rather see Traore start tbh.

He's got to have, what, probably nine years left on his current contract? He's not going to walk away from that.

Keith Bertschin fits the bill. Middle name Edwina.

I remember him. Bluenose.

My best mate at Warwick University was an Ipswich fan. When we signed Mortimer from Cov, he told me he was the best midfielder he had ever seen playing against them, so I forgave him.

I reckon Bailey ends up back in a lower quality or slower paced European league next season. Where he will likely do ok, probably play in European competition, and we will catch the odd great goal or lovely piece of skill in highlights packages.

Weren't Ajax linked in the summer? They took Haller who really flopped for West Ham for 20m and he scored plenty and then they sold him on for decent profit to Dortmund so that seems a logical move.

Thought Bailey played well in the early weeks under UE then dipped with poor misses but I really thought the Leeds goal would get him going again but he's been a peripheral presence in recent times and not someone who's going to fire us into the top 6 anytime soon.

He's an impact player; he has a high propensity for coming forcibly into contact with an opposing defender or the turf.

Think of all the wingers we’ve had over  the years. My first Villa hero was Tony Morley, to the extent i bumped into him in a coffee shop in Sutton Coldfield a couple of years ago and was tongue tied gutted.  Then Mark Walters with his step overs, then Tony Daley. Later and for a very short but impressive period Nobby Solano, after that Ash Young, even Robert Snodgrass in the championship and obviously Joe.
Bailey, has sublime moments, like goals against Brentford, Man Utd, Leeds, when he came on at old trafford in the league cup, beat 3 or 4 men and set Watkins away. But in between those moments, he literally does nowt and is more akin to Nigel Callaghans spell at Villa than those mentioned above.
Whatever the frustrations with all those other Villa wingers, they just did more and in the case of Walters and Daley, in both very good and very shite Villa sides.
It’s m never normally one to write players off too early, but i just dont see it with him.
