He has had more 'lives' than all the cats in a cat farm put together.

Come the summer, put a bid in for Raheem Sterling. Chelsea don't need him, they have about 400 players already.
unfortunately Bailey has Sterling’s football brain software.
There are lots of unwanted Chelsea players I would take before Sterling.

Is Pulisic injured again?

If you could get him fit he's the sort that would fit very well into UE's system in the final third. Excellent ball carrier and still only mid 20s.

Christ no, I'm frustrated enough as it is

He's the sort of player Newcastle will be after to make the next step up I'm very pleased to say.

I'd prefer to just not have any business with the pricks, leave them to suffer with a bloated squad after that fucking ridiculous window.

And yes before anyone asks, I would take Sterling over Bailey 100 times out of 100. But that also applies to lots of other footballers and I'd take many of them before shelling out God knows what in wages for a player who has probably already seen his best days.

Sterling has turned into the sort of player that won't be guaranteed first choice anywhere these days.

There's no way on earth we'll be after Sterling, so I wouldn't worry.

Newcastle bound with any luck as Bren says, they need a good 'more money than sense' signing to unravel the annoyingly effective close knit thing they've got at present.

Sterling's a very good player who almost guarantees double figures in goals from one of the wide forward spots. But he's also 29 this year and would cost a fortune in a fee and wages, so no way the owners will rubber stamp that.

I'm not sure he does guarantee that anymore. In the last season or 2 at Man City a lot of his goals were against teams who were already well behind and were being caught on the counter attack. This season he's been poor because Chelsea aren't putting teams in that situation. Add in a few penalties and his record for at least the last 2 years is very much of someone who's past his best.

Hopefully they're already unravelling. The cup final defeat yesterday will be a confidence-sapper as will the recent league form and they're no longer in pole position for 3rd or 4th place. In fact, they've only won one more league game than us.

The problem with basing a team's "success" heavily on a well-drilled defensive unit often means that when you go through a sticky spell, you often can't buy a goal and end-up drawing a lot or being the wrong side of narrow defeats.

Everyone at Chelsea has been poor this season. I hope they don't do anything daft like getting rid of Potter before we play them.
