Ashley Young is just a very smart footballer. And he’s let himself in superb shape

Is Ash playing at left back or left midfield?

And ps - can we have Mark Regan as commentator all the time and not the useless Jack Woodward ever again?

Commentary team is so much better with Regan. Tayls or Sir Brian are excellent co-commentators - they give really good insights into the game.

One took his career very seriously, the other simply didn’t. Both when younger in the same side were about the same in terms of potential.

Less is always more when it comes to commentary. Quality over quantity

Great goal that. Who needs Joe?

Pity Joe Bache is not still around, now he is a Villa legend.

Disagree. Gabby's outstanding talent was his pace. Young had far more in his locker, technically superior.

It is interesting though - they were great mates at Villa. Like you said, the difference in how they applied themselves for the second half of their careers...like night and day.
