Was the UEFA deal conditional? And if we met certain targets the punishment would be lifted? Does this fit in with that?

UEFA uses the calendar year to work out whether or not a club has broken its "rules", whereas the Prem goes from 1 July - 30 Jun.

Our net transfer spend last summer was -£7.7m

In Jan 25 we sold
Duran to Al Nassr for £64.5m.plus add-ons
Diego Carlos went to Fenerbache for £8.45m
Philogene joined Ipswich for £20m
Total £92.95m

We signed
Malen - £21m
Garcia - £6m
Total £27m

So from what I can see, our net spend in 2025 was  -£73.65m.

To have breached UEFA's SCR rules we must have had to have been spending money on wages, loan and agent's fees like crazy.

Pay the fine and get on with it.

Qualifying for Europe and going deep into whichever competition we are in repeatedly will help in this regard.

Disasi was a £5m loan fee - probably 2.5m in wages
Rashford would have been about £8m just in wages +any loan fee
Asensio maybe £5m in wages + any loan fee

Probably looking at £25m for them three
