That's a great move for him.

If he plays, sure. They seem to have a £100 million player pretty much in his position, but I'm sure others (thinking Dave, he usually knows stuff) will have a better idea of his selection prospects.

Really not fussed about this one.
Too lightweight for the Premier League. I can’t say we have missed him since his injury.

Good luck to him in his new adventure though.

Leverkusen have 2 injuries in that position. Buendia and McAtee are 2 they want so he might get a few starts...if he performs.

Thanks, Tuscans. I hope he does well there. Firstly, I'd like to get lots of money for him. Secondly, I like the wee scamp.

They are in a similar position to us it seems where they have to sell a player every year, this summer it will be Tah or Wirtz, maybe if the latter they are buying the replacement now.

Fair play to him, he tries hard but I've never been a fan, he doesn't seem to do anything particularly well.

If this happens we need a replacement surely

Agree, but we'll probably transfer or
loan Emi before a replacement comes in!

So did he sign a new contract extension with us as reported yesterday, or not then?

Sad about this, love the little fella. Yeah, even more than Traore.

Tah's going on a free in the summer.

🔴⚫️🇦🇷 The buy option for Emiliano Buendía to Bayer Leverkusen after initial loan will be worth around €20m.

Buendía sign new one year deal at Aston Villa ahead of loan move to Leverkusen.

Sounds good to me, protect the asset and get a fair price if we choose to sell.

Always liked Buendia and hope it goes well for him in Leverkusen. Strange time for a move perhaps given he was recently back getting minutes on the pitch again. But as seen yesterday he hasn't the mobility to play in midfield so it's at 10 or nowhere. Never did it enough for us when fully fit.

Another attacking player must be incoming.

How long did he have left on his deal - 18 months? Increasing that to 30 months...would it really make much of a difference if we sell him this summer?

Makes no sense to me unless we have another one coming in

Fuck knows who we play of we have a play off game we literally have got rid of alot players as well as the injuries

Dont think we can register new players until after play offs
