I really like the Castore Logo.  I was wondering why I liked it so much and then remembered it was because it reminded me of the film Castaway with Tom hanks. I still to this day wonder if he hooked up with the sculptor down the road.

You're going to tell me now that you haven't seen the film aren't you?

On the contrary. ;)

I must be alone in thinking Winks is a decent player.

Even Tom Hanks had Wilson.

My issue like the last shirt is the pro version looks lovely in the images and when you get to see the "normal" version it is a poor imitation and quality

Bet this is the same

It looks fine, and the prices are what we would expect aren't they?  I don't know why football shirts have become such a lightning rod for everyone who complains at the cost of clothing - it's the same with all aspects of the fashion industry.  A £10 polo shirt suddenly costs £100 if it has a tiny logo of a crocodile, a bloke on a horse or a laurel wreath on it.

But a designer polo shirt is at least well made and will last more than a couple of washes. They’re charging a hundred plus notes for some 100% polyester shite where the badges start to peel after it’s been worn a few times.

As said above you can buy a really nice polo shirt for the same price from a mid-high end designer and it'll look nice no matter what the occasion . £65 to advertise a dodgy online car sales company who tell you to smile is a little odd and you might get some strange looks

The shirt and the strange looks are two separate issues.

Out at 8am tomorrow.  Might do a detour on the way to Walsall to tomorrow to get it.

Which ATM do you plan on stealing to fund it? Just asking as it would be embarassing if we turned up at the same place

Tbf, I posted this before seeing the price.  Now I'm reconsidering!

Do you ever run out of energy complaining about every facet of the club?

Run it in the wash twice and you won't have to worry about who the sponsor is.

The V business reminds me of Rugby League kits.

There’s rarely a correlation between price and quality in fashion, the brand is everything.

I’ve made some pricey purchases for “designer” stuff in the past and the quality is rarely different (unless we are talking suit and tailored stuff) from the household brands.

Looks smart 👍

Not going to complain about the pricing…it is what it is, and is to be expected whether we like it or not. Even with the cost of living crisis, I don’t really see how a price increase from £55 (or whatever they cost in previous seasons) to £65 will put off any one genuinely looking to buy…they may think twice but £10 extra isn’t going to break the bank over the course of a year.

I don’t buy replica shirts any more (apart from I did pick up last seasons away shirt for £15 a few weeks ago) so will be sticking to my usual designer brand claret polos or hoody (they are more expensive than these replica shirts but they are relatively timeless and can be worn in more situations without feeling like a walking advertising board).

It’s nice you get to pick and choose which of the poor, exploited working classes are worthy of your support. I’m sure the garment workers in Thailand, Sri Lanka or Vietnam who are getting paid pennies to stitch your mid-high end polo shirts really appreciate you going into bat for those in Zone 6 who’s season tickets have gone up this year.

Not a fan of the chevrons or the sponsor tag line but the rest looks good.

The pricing is ridiculous.
