Unfortunately Dier's not starting for them.
That is really bad news....for us.

Don't think AEG can have too many complaints after his horror appearance at Newcastle. But I think we really should have moved away from playing wingers without Jack. Traore and Trez have been dreadful for a long time and I'm not expecting much improvement tonight.
Agreed.

My heart sinks when I see trezeguet starts

Mine too. Really poor player.

Without whom we would probably have got relegated and not made a cup final last season.

One assist and no goals this season. Not enough surely?
Yeah, but he will probably score on the last day of the season to clinch our Champions League spot. What a game that would be to score your 1st goal of the season.

Probably just a coincidence then that our good start to the season was with Trez in the starting 11.

Time to put the Chickens to roost tonight, after too many games where we haven't got much out of them.

Well it is good to see that Deano is sticking to playing his only plan as no other plan exists, which everybody and his dog know how we will try and play!

Just once why can't he try something different that the opposition might actually sit up and take notice instead of the same formation every time!
Even the subs will be like for like!

kane aside spurs bench looks scarier than their starting eleven. Just full of grafters like hojbert.  We can win this they're in the doldrums.

I’d have gone with Barkley in place of Trez tonight. Otherwise glad Cash is back  fancy us all of a sudden. 2-0

Don't like Trez starting for this. Need to make good decisions when we counter tonight and he simply won't.

AEG was good first half in the game last season, set up the own goal and was good in other attacks.

Agree, try for once playing without wingers and flood the middle getting McGinn further up the pitch.

Was it just me that couldn't make any sense out of Mourinho's pre match interview. It just sounded like a load of mumbled gobbledygook.

I really wish we’d play McGinn further forward too. That’s surely something we need to address this summer, a real decent deep sitting solid player, as well as upgrading the wide players.

With the one and only Mike Dean in charge there is bound to be some bad decisions  ,just hope it goes our way
