My heart sinks when I see trezeguet starts

Mine too. Really poor player.

Without whom we would probably have got relegated and not made a cup final last season.

So last year! Shall we move on? 😍

good team, the right team in my opinion

Trez and Elghazi are always a 50-50 for me

Trezeguet is a level below where we now want to be this season, but he's not *that* bad. And he works his bollocks off.

We have better balance with him in. I think it's our best line up without Jack.

Trying to be positive: isn't our record on Sunday evenings particularly good???  :)

Oh go on then: 2-1 us!

Ollie to celebrate his England call-up.

Just realised it's a 7.30 kick-off. I'll at least be able to watch the first half. Should be good enough for 4-1 at HT.

Davis playing the Harewood role?

Watkins x 3
Mcginn

Salah getting one for them.

Don't like Trez starting for this. Need to make good decisions when we counter tonight and he simply won't.

AEG was good first half in the game last season, set up the own goal and was good in other attacks.

Don't think AEG can have too many complaints after his horror appearance at Newcastle. But I think we really should have moved away from playing wingers without Jack. Traore and Trez have been dreadful for a long time and I'm not expecting much improvement tonight.

Hear, hear. El Ghazi blows hot and cold and Barkley is off by a long way. We're not exactly flush with options.

I always see Trez as a 'defensive' choice of forward, and his inclusion is normally an indication of how much chasing Dean expects us to be doing.  I absolutely love his work rate, and for that alone he'll never get too much criticism from me, but in terms of creating danger to the opposition, I think he's 4th out of 4 in those positions.

Today would be a GREAT time for Ollie to show the nation what he's about.  The media and the neutrals will be watching him much more closely following his call up, I hope he delivers.

One assist and no goals this season. Not enough surely?
Yeah, but he will probably score on the last day of the season to clinch our Champions League spot. What a game that would be to score your 1st goal of the season.

Good to see Sanson start, unfairly left out last week, I thought. Ollie to score the winner.

I wish Merson would stop banging on about us being a one man team.  Take any star player out of any team and they’re not the same without them.

Tyrone Mings before the game speaking very well regarding racism and the taking of the knee. He is an impressive young man.
