The Majestic is bigger than the Warehouse, the Witton Arms has 1500 capacity, the Aston Hotel has 54 rooms (and that’s to live there), the Aston Tavern 300 capacity and 17 rooms, the Aston Inn has 30-odd rooms.

True, but the day-tripper with a few dollars in their pocket is more likely to want to go to the official venue and buy tat merch.

Add in the fan zone and kids entertainment and it’s a good option for people bringing their kids along as well who will pay a bit more to have the kids entertained.

All those venues I listed would be targeting business people in the week, tourists and matchday drinkers on the weekend. And I’m advocating for them to become official.
