How much is Euro ‘28 worth to us?

Hard to quantify. Not a lot financially, but if you count getting everyone into gear regarding 500 square metres of new player facilities, the capacity increase and improvement in local transport infrastructure, quite a lot.

The local growth plan that I posted ages ago is going to be discussed by the council cabinet next week. Hopefully the link is ok, there were fewer pop-ups for me than the usual shite for some reason:

It feels like there is a concerted effort now to bring everything together to elevate Villa Park as a world class destination.

AI says:

The "activation" of Witton Lane Gardens means upgrading, revitalizing, and bringing an underused local public park near Villa Park in Birmingham back to active community use. In urban planning and council frameworks like the Birmingham City Council Consultation Hub, "activation" refers to turning a quiet or neglected green space into a vibrant, functional area.Key Goals of the ActivationBetter Facilities: Upgrading sporting, play, and recreational equipment (such as local multi-use games areas or seating) for residents and matchday visitors.Environmental Improvements: Greening the surrounding area, clearing paths, and integrating the space with nearby natural features like the River Tame corridor.Community Engagement: Making the space safe, welcoming, and regularly utilized for local events, recreation, and social gathering rather than leaving it empty outside of football matchdays.

AI is apparently incorrect 48% of the time. Or is that correct 48% of the time? I can never remember.

I know, but I thought I’d give it a try as I didn’t really know. I thought it might be familiar with council-speak.

AI says : 48% of general AI responses contain some form of inaccuracy or error..

AI could never be a poster on H&V.

3 days to set the crane up or something. This is proper nerdy boys stuff, love it.

It cannot compete with the right spreadsheet, I think you'll find .  8)

I think to retain any technical credibility, He should keep any of his thoughts on crane mechanics to himself. Or consult a typical 5 year old first.
