I wonder if we can temporarily reduce the size of the away allocation while we have the North closed.
Only if the capacity had dropped further - below 30000 I think.

The updated plans show the two tier Trinity configuration. So presumably our capacity will increase from 37k to 38-38.5?

No that was factored in to the calculations and the reduction wasn’t as large as completely losing the North Stand.

As I said the bloke on X gets a little over excited every time he discovers stuff. But he means well!

Yeah, that's what was stated.

I suppose quick maths of ~43k (7k North) = 36k, so the 37k must come from the reconfigured Trinity. Plus I suppose the additional balcony area in the Holte/Trinity corner.

Is our fine home record in jeopardy now? When we play towards the North Stand, the opposing fans will feel emboldened and the families with kiddies in the Trinity will be quieter than church mice.

In this instance, he’s posted a pic that shows 5 rows of new seats instead of the walkway in the Trinity Road stand. What’s he got over-excited about?

I think Spurs' Zone of Silence stand has about 17.5k seats, compared to the Holte End's 13.5k?

The Spuds one is apparently 34m high. I've dangled from the roof of the Holte, but I can't say how high it is.

Were you in a Santa outfit?

Were you booked for descent?

Does thst mean upgrades to both Aston and Witton stations will be taking place?

More work on Witton, but yes, improvements to Aston as well, including a tidy up of Lovers Walk.

If you check Construction Enquirer on line, it states that Kingscote Construction are the main contractor for the redevelopment of the North Stand. It mentions that the North Stand's current capacity is 6,537, increasing to 12,516. The extra seating to the Trinity will push the overall capacity above the required 50,000.
The new North Stand will have about 1,000 less seats than the Holte End.
Interestingly, the new North Stand will still be bigger than Bournemouth's Vitality Stadium, which only holds 11,286!
