Interesting photo. Where and when was it taken and how the hell did they get there?

You can see people on the staircase in the bottom corner but still, coastal town as well so the wind would come whipping in up there.

Looks like some work being done on the middle Trinity too. The wall between the middle and lower tier has been demolished.

This was in the plansfor this design of the north so makes sense it's happening, slightly surprised they've done it now though, I expected that to be a summer job.

Looks like extra rows of seats at the front of the middle tier.

£30 for entry to the warehouse to watch England World Cup matches. Good luck finding any mug willing to shell out for that.

Fork out thirty sheets to throw a load of pissy lager over each other, people are daft.

other than wet , do you get anything else for that £30

I think one of the things that the club had to address was providing accessible seating in all areas of the ground, rather than just in the Trinity as it has been historically.  For all of the criticism I would give Heck, it does look like the 'bowl optimisation' is finally addressing this whilst enabling us to add more seats around the ground.  Once everything is complete then there should be proper facilities in all of the stands, as well as the new areas in the corners of the Holte.

They are removing some accessible seats from the Trinity as part of the works, which is another reason for the Holte/Witton work.

This is a positive aspect of the work though.  Villa have been under pressure to increase accessibility across the whole of Villa Park, as all of the seats previously were loaded into the Trinity.  This meant that until recently even away fans could only use those seats.

Now we have added accessible seating in the Holte, the Witton and soon the North Stands as well as the new areas in the corners, we will have significantly increased overall provision, enabled all fans have access to the whole of the ground, and can still add more seats in the Trinity Road stand as this is no longer the sole provision.
